Grade 8 Concert Band

You’ve taken Band 7, or you already play a band instrument, and you want to continue with your musical pursuits.

Band 8 is an elective continuation of Band 7, in which students continue refining their tone and technical skills, playing harder repertoire, and preparing for the High School Music Program. Theory is taught through the repertoire.

All participants are required to practice one hour per week, play 2 concerts at Langley Christian School, and participate in the Vancouver Kiwanis Band Festival, playing at the B200 level as per the MusicFest Canada Sylabus.
