Vision of the Fine Arts Program

Creativity

Students will explore and examine new as well as familiar experiences in the area of music, theater and art to expose students to new experiences and expand their ideas about what is possible.

Service

We will be exposed to a variety of cultures and experiences that will enable us to connect with others and begin to understand similarities and differences in the world God has put us in. We will seek ways to be a blessing using our artistic, dramatic and/or musical skills.

Leadership

Through interaction with other high school Fine Arts students, students may have opportunity to share their knowledge and to explore collaborative musical, dramatic and artistic possibilities.

Excellence

Through interacting with professional Christian artists we hope to empower our students to understand more about how music, art and drama are acts of worship, and how we can use them to serve others with excellence.

Community

Students will be exposed to the correlation between music, art and drama through viewing and interacting in workshops with professional productions and will learn how to work together for a common purpose.

Skills

Through exposure to a wide variety of venues in music, drama and art, students will develop their own talents through learning new techniques. These opportunities encourage students to maximize the creative gifts and skills if they choose to take that journey.
