At Langley Christian School, we use music to communicate with God and others, and to express creative energy through a wide range of emotions.
It is our hope and prayer that, for our students, learning music at Langley Christian isn’t just about music. It’s about finding another way for us to think through life, learning skills such as perseverance, practice, teamwork, and commitment, as well as becoming fluent in the language of music.
It’s more than just learning about notes and rhythms, singing in the choir, playing with the concert band, or learning how to improvise a jazz solo. In becoming discerning disciples of Jesus, we learn music to become life-long learners, lovers, and imparters of the knowledge that God has graciously bestowed upon us, looking for ways in which we can serve Him and others with this gift.
There is a place for all students at Langley Christian School, regardless of experience, ability, or training, to be involved in our symphonic bands, jazz bands, choral programs, or on one of our chapel worship teams.
